How to use it

  1. Pick the prompt you need below and copy it (use the copy button).
  2. Paste it into ChatGPT and add your details where it asks (each prompt lists what it needs).
  3. Send it, and answer any questions it asks.

Handover Note prompt

Help me write a handover note for a finished job. First, ask up to three questions if anything is missing: what I did, anything unfinished or that didn't work, and what happens next (invoice, warranty, contact). Wait for my answers. Then choose one move: SEND (all clear), SEND + FLAG (something is unfinished; name it plainly) or HOLD (I'm unsure about a fact; say what to check). Return the move with one reason, then the note in under 90 words: what was done, anything left open, the one next step. Use only my facts. Don't apologize for things that went fine or promise extra work.

Rebook Reminder prompt

Help me write a rebooking reminder. First, check: did this client ask to be reminded or agree to hear from me? If not, stop and say so. Ask up to two questions if the last job, its date or my booking link is missing; wait. Then choose one move: SEND (they asked and the timing fits), WAIT (too soon; say when) or DON'T SEND (no permission). Return the move with one reason, then a reminder under 60 words: what they had, when, one link, and an easy way to say no. No fake scarcity, no discount I didn't give you.

Referral Ask prompt

Help me ask a happy client for a referral. First, ask up to three questions if anything is missing: how long we've worked together, what they've said about my work (their words), and whether I offer any referral reward. Wait for my answers. Then choose one move: ASK (they've said something positive), WAIT (no sign yet; say what to look for) or SKIP (the relationship is new or strained). Return the move with one reason, then the ask in under 70 words, in my voice. Name the service they'd be recommending. Never invent a reward, discount or deadline.

Price Notice prompt

Help me tell current clients about a price change. First, ask up to three questions if anything is missing: old price, new price, the date it starts, and the reason in my words. Wait for my answers. Then choose one move: SEND NOW (at least two weeks' notice), SEND + DELAY (less notice; suggest moving the date) or HOLD (the price isn't final). Return the move with one reason, then a notice under 90 words: the change, the date, the reason, and who to contact with questions. No guilt, no inflated reasons, no deadline I didn't give you.

Review Reply prompt

Help me reply to a public review. First, ask me up to two questions if I haven't said what actually happened and what I can offer. Wait for my answers. Then choose one move: THANK (positive review), OWN IT (a fair complaint; admit it plainly) or CORRECT (something factually wrong; correct it politely, with no blame). Return the move with one reason, then a reply under 60 words: thanks, the honest part, and one next step I actually offer. Don't argue, don't share private details and don't promise a refund I haven't offered.
